The beer region by bike

Starting in Bamberg's Old Town, you will cycle past two malthouse, a brewing equipment factory and thirteen breweries, including eight outside the town. They range from celebrated smoked beer breweries such as Spezial through to microbreweries with the charm of the Seventies to new establishments in the industrial area and the experimental brewery at the Weyermann malthouse. In addition to beer culture, you will also discover the High Baroque culture of Schloss Seehof with its fountains and extensive park.

The tour leads you through an attractive landscape with good views of the nature parks  Steigerwald , Hassberge and Fränkische Schweiz, but it is also of culinary interest, as we will stop in a traditional Franconian rural brewery and sample one of the regional beer specialities.
