Discover the local lifestyle, hidden short-cuts that open up new vistas, and the prettiest spots in town – within and beyond the major UNESCO cultural heritage sites. Enjoy the town`s most stunning views as well as relaxed cycling through a tunnel of green leaves along the Regnitz river.
Cycling is the most enjoyable way to get to know picturesque quarters in and beyond the town centre. Get the inside track on Bamberg as you cycle to the city’s highlights in the Old Town and discover quirky quarters beyond the town centre like Wunderburg, with its rich brewing and market-gardening traditions, or the Hain quarter with its late 19th century villas and the Hain park.
You will get to listen to exciting tales from the history of the town, and you will find out more about Bamberg`s beer and about the town`s most famous sons and daughters. And you will, of course, also have ample time to savour the views and take photographs.
